Ralph W. Emerson, III Obituary
Ralph W. Emerson, III, 83, went to be with his Savior, Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Jennersville Regional Hospital, West Grove.

He was the husband of Mildred Inners Emerson and was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Norma Emerson.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Ralph W., II and May Rice Emerson.

Ralph was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War. He was employed with the Wilmington News Journal as a printer.

Ralph was a former member, Sunday School Teacher and Trustee for the Bible Baptist Church, Leola. He was also a former member, Deacon and worked with the Bus Ministry for Manor Presbyterian Church, Cochranville.

He enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Randy Emerson of Avondale; one brother, Paul Emerson of NY; two step-sons, Fred Simmers, Jr. of Douglasville and Tim Simmers of Geigertown; nine step-grandchildren; and twelve step-great-grandchildren.

Ralph was preceded in death by a son, Ralph W. Emerson, IV; sister, Dory Taylor; and a step – great-grandchild.
